Lakeview Hospital Emergency Department

Nobody Wants To Need It, But Most People Do At Some Time

The Lakeview Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve our community's healthcare needs.  We always have a fully qualified team of technicians, nurses and medical providers on staff to help you during your visit.Emergency Room

When you arrive at the Emergency Department, a nurse will ask you a few questions to determine the reason for your visit and then they will evaluate you. This is called triage.  The purpose of triage is to sort and prioritize patients according to the complaint and symptoms present.

A member of our team will:

  • Ask about your medical history including what medications are you taking, and any allergies you may have.
  • Take your vital signs: blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
  • Ask you the name of your primary care physician.
  • Ask you to sign a consent allowing the Emergency Department to treat you.

You will receive medical attention according to the seriousness of your symptoms, illness, or injury as determined during the triage process. After you are assigned to a room in the Emergency Department, a physician will evaluate you.
