Adult Behavioral Health Help
The Adult Behavioral Medicine Unit at Lakeview Hospital is a short-term, comprehensive inpatient psychiatric program. It is designed exclusively to meet the psychological and physical healthcare needs of adults ages 18 to 64.
Patient care emphasizes health and wellness while ensuring comfort and safety.
The patient care team includes psychiatrists and other physicians, social workers, nurses, psychologists, behavioral health counselors, and a variety of expressive activities including music, recreation, leisure arts, and pet therapies. Our team of experts is trained to address a full spectrum of mental health issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, thought disorder, and substance abuse.
Services in this program provide for psychiatric assessment, medication management, diagnostic and psychological testing, intensive group therapy, and family education. A discharge plan is outlined with each patient and their significant others to ensure appropriate resources for ongoing care.

We provide evaluations onsite through our 24-hour hospital crisis team or you may be referred through your own mental health professional or facility. Geriatric Behavioral Health Center

For some, these days of contentment can be disrupted by physical and emotional problems. With the help of medical specialists and other professionals, many of these challenges can be successfully treated. The Geriatric Behavioral Health Center at Lakeveiw Hospital is a short term, comprehensive inpatient psychiatric program. It is designed exclusively to meet the psychological and physical healthcare needs of older adults. Patient care emphasizes health and wellness while ensuring comfort and safety. The patient care team includes physicians / psychiatrists, gerontologists, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and behavioral health technicians.

Life Works
Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Program
Life Works is an intensive outpatient program which strives to provide the best treatment possible for those suffering with addiction. We do this by utilizing the research based recommendations from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
Life Works provides
Process Group to help people gain insight into themselves, their emotional and relational process, and how they can move forward in recovery
- Individual Therapy to help patients gain the insight needed to change
- Education to help patients learn the many changes which occur with addiction
- Motivational Incentives to help patients recognize and highlight significant stages in their recovery
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help reduce relapse
- Family Therapy to help heal relationships damaged by addiction
- Recreational therapy to learn new relaxation skills and new ways to approach life
- Links to AA, NA, LDS 12 Steps, and Al-Anon self help recovery support groups for individuals and families who have been impacted by substance abuse
- Communication with law enforcement agencies or employers to make them aware of the progress being made in treatment as needed
